Prayer

My prayer to you
Always begins the same way.

Love.

Almighty God,
Spirit of The Universe.
My soul cannot grasp.
Your immensity.

In random blessed moments,
I see but
small minute  fragments
of your light.

And I am dumbfounded.
Struck dumb and blind.
By this.
SOMETHING THAT IS
THE SUM OF ALL THINGS.

And all I can say
In those moments is.

OH! OH! OH!

Oh my heart.
Too full with the –
Cracked open by the –
Seized and shuddered
and staggered by the –

Oh how you blind my heart
with THIS.
THIS ENORMOUS CRAZY THING.
I cannot express.

THE WORD.
That cannot be expressed.

Somehow
Even in Heaven
I will not be able to express.
The LOVE I feel for you.
The LOVE you feel for me.

GOD OF ALL THINGS AND BEINGS.

When you enter my readings.
For myself and others.
I can literally
Not contain anything else.
This body suit wrapped around
My limitless soul
Knows you in those moments.

I just hear a bell ringing.
It is the sound the Universe makes.
When it makes your soul
A belfry for its music.

You ring my bell?
No, the BELL rings you
In the greatest most silently loud echo
That blasts your eardrums
From the the inside out

And THAT is THAT.
THAT is ALL.

That is all I can feel
In those blessed moments
When I touch but a fragment.
Of God’s LIGHT.

In a fleeting moment
That is what it feels to be a vessel.
For the Cosmic Music
Of the Universe.

OH! OH! OH!

The BLESSEDNESS.
I AM OVERCOME.
